The Ford C Series was a series of medium duty trucks introduced in for the 1953 model year. Initially, Ford's medium duty line was part of the Ford F-Series, but in 1953, the F-5, F-6, F-7, & F-8 were renamed the C-500, C-600, C-700, and C-800 respectively. The C Series was offered for a wide variety of purposes such as fire trucks and flatbed.
